About this ship
Explorer of the Seas is a Voyager-class cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International, in service since 2000. The ship features large open interior spaces including a multi-story dining room and the Royal Promenade, a shopping and entertainment boulevard that spans several decks. It received a partial refurbishment in 2023 that added the Perfect Storm waterslide duo, following an earlier planned 2020 amplification that was scaled back due to the pandemic.
