About this ship
Celebrity Ascent is the fourth ship in Celebrity Cruises' Edge-class series, built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France and entering service in late 2023. As a sister ship to Celebrity Edge, Apex, and Beyond, it features the line's signature outward-facing design, including the cantilevered Magic Carpet platform and an open-air Rooftop Garden. The ship carries roughly 3,260 guests in double occupancy and includes The Retreat, a ship-within-a-ship suite enclave.
