In a thread: A member shared their positive experiences staying at two newly renovated or built hotels in the Outer Banks, North Carolina, noting good mold conditions but fragrance issues at one property.
“The Pearl Hotel in Manteo, NC: This hotel was completely newly built from the ground up and open either in 2024 or 2025… Super comfortable with no signs of mold. But, I did ask for a fragrance free room and it reeked of fragrance, but because it was an apartment I opened the windows.”
