In a thread: A member warned against staying at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston due to severe mold found on lower floors despite a 2019 renovation.
“do not stay at the Magnolia Hotel in downtown Houston. I was there last night for a company party, and I believe it has a severe issue with mold on the first and second floors. The smell was overwhelming and I was able to easily locate mold coming out of air vents, along baseboards and walls, and the carpets were badly stained from water damage.”
