In a thread: A member shared their experiences staying at three Edinburgh hotels, recommending the newly renovated Gleneagles Townhouse and W hotel for mold-aware travelers, while warning against the water-damaged Kimpton Charlotte Square.
“I saw 5 rooms at the Kimpton Charlotte Square and every single one was visibly water damaged and musty smelling. They also use a very aggressive fragrance (likely to cover the musty smells...) We did NOT stay and I felt very ill after only around 20 minutes in the building.”
