  I did get a refund from Airbnb for mold. It was spring break this year and the property was in Kentucky.

  Dang I hate to hear this is such an issue but I understand why considering how hard it is to even find a clean home to buy.

  I just got one from a hotel, but that’s because I managed to reach the CEO but that’s only because I use the email that they use for those that seek partnerships with the lark brand which is the hotel that was a problem. He even responded, but I think that’s very unusual.

  Yes re the windows! It dissipates the mycotoxins. So very sorry. Get a refund from VRBO at least!

  I've never found any insurance policy that covers mold, unfortunately.

  Y’all the host is refusing to cancel and refund. VRBO is not helping us even though we have proof. Cannot recommend AGAINST them enough.

  i took pics but it was a chain hotel a comfort inn!

  Yes we did get all the money back but there was visible mold everywhere in the bathroom and other areas on top of the very bad smell

  The host let us out of it Feeling so much relief! Now I’ll go post a review in here so no one else stays here It was a risky place to book considering the crawl space. Will not do that again.

  I have TWICE now got a refund from VRBO and Airbnb for condos that weee completely moldy. If it’s the first day there id contact the owner and tell them our concerns and demand a refund. Both times they refunded us without a big fight.

  We took pictures of all the visible mold. My husband threatened the host with getting a lawyer. They let us out of the contract.
