Looking for mold-safe coastal towns to stay in the Southeast

I'll try this again since my post was declined. I'm looking for somewhere to heal from CIRS, MCAS, MCS, CFS, dysautonomia, etc. Despite the heat, it seems like the ocean air is good for me. We've tried Wilmington and would like to try other cities on the east coast. Next stops are Beaufort (NC and SC), and possibly Bluffton or Georgetown SC. There is only one recommendation for Beaufort SC in the files, and it might be a few years old. Believe me, I read the files a few times a week, so I have definitely checked them. We may also consider: Seneca or Walhalla SC and western NC. Please, if you have any recommended stays in those locations, let me know. A kitchen or kitchenette is ideal, but we will make do. Thanks!

Beaufort NC, isn't great. Georgetown SC is flat out terrible, likely because there is a paper mill there.

Have you tried a salt room for halotherapy?

I lived on the water in Panama City Beach. While the air is great. Yes, you have the heat and high humidity. Storm damaged properties and mold. I am now in Greenville, SC and heal. Im in foothills . People here think it is hot. I think it is ok. (ITS NOT FLORIDA HOT). I have a clean mold free place. I did live in Columbia, SC for three years while in the Army. I will tell you it is hotter there than Kuwait. It is South FL miserable . So the further towards the mountains you go. The better the heat and humidity. Avoid asheville NC. They just got destroyed by floods and most of the county was without power for weeks. I wouldn't chance that for mold. All of this my experience. Good luck.

We moved to SC a few years ago and it's been brutal here with mold and humidity but I'm in the midlands so no breeze. Im trying to figure out a move to closer to the water as well. If I had the choice I would leave the humid Southern States altogether but have to stay bc of kid starting college . Keep us posted on your journey and good luck.

In Charleston (mount Pleasant- 5 minutes from the beach off the connector ) I had no problems with the Hampton inn. They had kitchens and separate living room.

I live close to Beaufort and Bluffton. Every building down here is moldy. My doctor said the two places not to heal are Pacific Northwest and Southeast. Sorry to break the news. Maybe you could try Western NC? Still probably humid but not THIS kind of humid. The air is soup down here. I spent 6 years healing in dry Kona HI, and have been back in the South for two years. We have a new home, where mold was tested and humidity is monitored. But shopping and visiting anywhere else is challenging. I am only here because of family. We went to a beach the other day and there was a tiny shop where they sold bottled water- I wanted to get more water but I could smell the mold outside of the building. That's a very common occurance. I can't imagine a non-moldy stay in the Coastal South, unless you build and control the entire property yourself. I hope someone else has something for you.

I have stayed in an Airbnb in Wilmington with no problems. But I've been out of the home that made me sick for several years and am possibly not as reactive now.

I have dysautonomia and CFS. I'm in gulf shores now. I'm ok… but Houston is better for me

With the high humidity I would say none of those places

The outside air out by Walhalla is great but the buildings not so much. Im reacting even to the grocery stores
