I stayed at MGM signature suites and felt very safe there plus there is a mini kitchen. I did have to book it through air bob The MGM though has mold so that's a bummer. Wynn and Encore both were great to gamble in.

Just stayed at the Wynn this Thanksgiving and it was fine. No noticeable mold or fragrance. They were doing some repainting on my floor one day so there was a strong paint smell in the hall but it did not permeate into the room I no longer go to the Aria or any connected hotels and shops as the fragrance is insane and I have to wash my clothes and hair afterwards

I stayed at the Wynn five years ago with no problem. Granted that was a while ago but I would personally stay there again.

Stayed at the Wynn October of 2024 and this past October too. Stayed with my spouse who had some sort of business group rate, otherwise it'd be too expensive for us, but it is quite nice. And I do just fine there, no issues. When booking I ask for a fragrance-free room and they already may be but I still stress that I need scent-neutral with no strongly scented cleaning products nor fragrance sprays when they finish readying the room. Again, they may not do any of that anyway, but I still make it known on the reservation and I also mention I need a room with no history of water damage. The hotel seems to be so well maintained that may not even be an issue but I still make it known as part of the reservation and I ask for as high a floor as possible within our room rate. They are very kind and attentive, excellent customer service in all departments. Other than my needs expressed during the reservation process, once there we are not high maintenance guests and I actually ask for no additional room servicing as I do not want it "cleaned" again during our stay. I ask for any additional items I may need from housekeeping as I see them in the hall and exchange towels with them as needed, but I prefer for nothing additional while staying there in order to limit exposure to any fragrances. Zero issues with mold in the two rooms we've had and all public spaces have been quite nice and well maintained. There is some smoke as you pass through the casino but it could be so much worse than it is. Would happily stay again and again just wish it were more affordable.

I'm also looking for a mold free-clean place to stay in the Vegas area-could be an Airbnb or anyplace within an hour of Vegas. Anyone have suggestions based on experience?

Just came back last Monday. Stayed at the aria. the casino area was horrible with chemicals but my room was great. We paid extra for the wellness room and also asked for a hypoallergenic room. I also took breaks each day to sit at the pool and get away from everything.

Fountainbleau is one of the smelliest hotels I've ever been to (added scent). I live in Vegas so I've been to them all. It's SO rank, I can even smell it driving by outside. I don't know about the mold aspect because I haven't been in the rooms, but just the scent alone is awful.

The rooms in the Virigin were great. One area in the HUGE lobby felt off but generally it was ok. Would totally stay there again. The bathrooms were excellent and I felt wonderful there. Sorry it's not on the strip tho.

We ended up at the Encore (Wynn). Great except the strong smoke smell in casino had me running through as fast as possible. Its unfortunate you have to be so close to the casino when entering/exiting. We finished up with two nights at Mandalay Bay, and while it is a bit older and not as luxurious, I actually did better there, as least regarding the smoke. No mold smell in the room either. Only thing was a bit of HVAC burning smell in the hallway but it didnt ever get that way in the room thank goodness.
